November 2008: The Johannesburg International Motor Show will take place at Nasrec in Johannesburg. With commercial vehicles the main focus of the expo, the latest products of leading players will be on display. Vehicle manufacturers and distributors that will be at the expo include: FAW, Freightliner, Fuso, International, Isuzu, Iveco, MAN Truck, Mercedes Benz, Nissan Diesel, Toyota, Volkswagen and Western Star. Trailer and body manufacturers exhibiting include Afrit, GRW, SA Truck Bodies TFM Industries and Top Trailers. There will also be exhibitors from Brazil, China, Germany, India and Thailand.

October 2008: The 2008 Road Accident Indaba is being held at the Hermansdal Conference and Lodge on the R555 road to Witbank. They will be discussing ways to reduce the high level of accidents on our roads. Hosted by the Mpumalanga Dept of Roads & Transport.
